Terrific used fresh or dried to season beans, meats and stuffing, and a great salt substitute, Summer Savory is one of the essential ingredients in Herbs de Provence (along with rosemary, thyme and oregano).
Whorls of light purple flowers add a touch of color to the green-leafed plants in the Summer.
