Mum plants, also know as Chrysanthemums, are available throughout the year since they can be forced to bloom easier than most plants. The potted mums are different then the hardy varieties that can be planted outside in gardens. They come in cushion and daisy varieties as well as in multiple colors, including yellow, lavender and white. Typically Mum plants will continue to flower for 3 to 4 weeks with proper care, but then generally do not bloom again.
