- Peas like cool weather and regular moisture. Plant in rich, well-drained soil in early spring about a month prior to last spring frost date, or late summer for fall crops. Will tolerate light frost. Thinning is not necessary.

Lake Valley- Pea, Little Marvel (Bush)
Little Marvel produces a short vine that does not need trellising. Each plump pod contains six or seven peas. Delicious steamed, stir-fried or frozen. Works well in containers.
