- Sow in full sun and well-drained soil in spring after all danger of frost has passed. Start transplants indoors about six weeks before last frost date. Water lightly but consistently until established.
- Keep faded flowers cut to encourage more blossoms. Gazania can withstand considerable heat and drought once established.
