- Choose a warm, sunny location. For transplants, start seeds indoors two weeks before last frost date. Keep soil evenly moist until plants are established. - Mature plants are quite drought tolerant. Rarely needs fertilizer.
Lake Valley- Cleome Purple Queen
Cleome loves the warm days of summer. It reaches 3-6 feet tall and blooms continuously from midsummer to frost. Perfect for a tall summer hedge in sun or partial shade. Burgundy-purple flowers are spiky, open and form round clumps.
