- Sow outdoors in very early spring. Prefers full sun and loose, evenly moist soil amended with plenty of organic matter. Before planting, loosen the soil to a depth of 5-6³ to help the roots grow straight. Be patient! Carrots can be slow to germinate.
- For best flavor harvest these carrots when the roots are “little finger” size.

Little Finger carrots can be pulled at 3? long. Deep orange, blunt roots have a very small core and smooth skin. These miniature carrots are often served in gourmet restaurants. Their sweet flavor develops early. Great fresh and perfect for pickling and canning.
