- Select a location with full sun to part shade. Grows well in almost any soil but the most tender and sweetest leaves are produced in fertile soil with plenty of water, especially during hot weather.
- Cut plants near ground level with scissors when leaves are two to four inches long. In hot weather the plants bolt quickly. Try the tasty flowers in salads and the young seed pods with stir-fry meals.

Also known as rocket or roquette, arugula’s tasty young leaves add a delightful spicy flavor to fresh salads and some pasta sauces. Very easy and quick to grow. Plant every three weeks for a constant source of tender greens.
