Phaseolus vulgaris Item #3108 60 days. Green Beans (also called Snap Beans) have the best flavor when picked fresh from the garden. Royal Burgundy has delicious purple pods that are amazingly easy to grow and find among the backdrop of green foliage. It grows better than other bean types in cool weather, is very disease resistant and unlikely to be challenged by pests. Also a good container variety. This packet sows two 6-foot rows.
