Lake Valley- Okra, Red Burgundy Organic
Attractive four-to-five-foot plant with green leaves. Looks great in the vegetable (or flower!) garden. Grows best in areas with hot weather. Produces tender burgundy 6-8? pods with excellent yields. Slender, pointed pods are used in soups-especially gumbo and stews. It won an All America Selections award in 1988.
