Habitat

 10 Gallon Tank. They enjoy lots of height so larger tanks are preferred. Many climbing materials are essential.
  • SUBSTRATE: Cypress mulch, moss, and cork bark. Keep all of these materials damp!
  • TEMPERATURE: 68-77 ˚F 24/7 is good. Under tank heating works best, be sure to monitor that this temperature doesn’t get too warm. If you have a taller tank, a 50 to 60 watt tropical heart bulb will help maintain their temperature more evenly. High humidity levels are a must to keep your frog from dehydrating – literally.

Diet

 These insectivores enjoy gut load and calcium dusted crickets, daily.

Water

 Supply a fresh, clean, dependable chlorine-free water source. Mist the habitat at least once a day. You may even want to invest in a misting unit. Green Tree Frogs need shallow water as they are not good swimmers and can easily drown, very unlike most frogs.

 The male will make noises during breeding season. The female, however, is quiet.
